Bella Umbrella LOVES this photo shoot by Amber French Photography! Nautical decor always seems so whimsical and dreamy.  There is a certain calmness when photos are taken by the water.  This couple has such a fun time with this bright yellow parasol against the moody background of the Northwest.  This makes me want to get dressed up and have a photo shoot right now!  Who says that playing dress up is only for when you’re a kid?  Get out there and snap a few photos…or call on Amber French Photography for some portraits. Michelle Dirkse Interior Design Photo Shoot

Bella Umbrella LOVED being a part of this innovative photo shoot and video!  You have to check out this interior designers work!  Based in Seattle, Michelle Dirkse Interior Design decided to play on the mystique of the gray Seattle rain for a new portrait for her website.  By renting colorful vintage umbrellas from Bella Umbrella, Michelle used her experience as a photography and commercial set designer to create her own colorful compliment to the raining gray paint swatches.  “As an interior designer, I’m often out and about shopping for clients or meeting with contractors and suppliers.  I wanted to make an image that’s representative of the creative energy that I put into each individual project rather than simply taking a photo of me at my desk working on blueprints and budgets. The staff at Bella Umbrella,  Devin Belmain Photography and Kevin Cox Design helped me make my creative vision come to life!” 

Michelle Dirkse Interior Design is a full service interior design firm.  Principal designer Michelle Dirkse will be partnering with City Hardware in South Lake Union this Sunday April 28th to offer free in-store consultations from 12-3pm.
